As owners of the Historic Needham Estate, Sandy and Drew Romanovitz are active members of the rich and historic culture of Fort Lauderdale. They bought the estate ten years ago and have had many family and friends celebrations, as well as donated their home for charitable events.
The Needham Estate was built in 1925 and is located in downtown Las Olas with a 5,000-foot courtyard in front and 185 feet of waterfront lawn on the New River. The property is available for any number of upscale, elegant gatherings, specifically: Social events; Corporate events; Weddings; Bar and Bat Mitzvahs; Fundraisers; Cocktail parties; Dinner parties; Wine tastings; Receptions; Luncheons; Coffees; Teas; Lectures; Photo shoots. The estate is a most unique venue which lends itself to numerous options inside/outside for any occasion. The interior is replete with elegant furnishings and old world charm, and the outside is surrounded by ivy covered stone walls, hedges, and large gates.

Not only do they own the estate, but Drew and Sandy work hand in hand with clients and all event staff working with the property. They ensure that all clients’ needs are addressed whether it is a small catered business affair or a larger scale wedding.
“We make sure there are nothing but smiles before, during and after every event we host here,” says Sandy Romanovitz. Being a part of some of the most important events in peoples lives, we are committed to providing our guests with smooth sailing for all of their events.”
Drew Romanovitz Bio: Attorney, Developer and local businessman, Drew serves as Chairman of the Sheriff’s Foundation of Broward County. He is also a member of the Broward Sheriff’s Advisory Council. He has been on the Pets are Worth Saving (PAWS) Board of Directors and continues to participate in and support their fundraising activities. Drew serves on the Ambassadors Board at Nova Southeastern University. He is active in and supports various other charitable organizations in the community.
Sandra Romanovitz Bio: Sandy is a Life Member of the Royal Dames of Cancer Research, Inc., she chaired a Royal Dames Tiara Ball, has served on many Royal Dames fundraising committees and has served and continues to serve on the Board of Trustees for the past nine years. She is also a Life Member of Pets are Worth Saving (PAWS) and has served on the Executive Board of Directors for the past seven years. Sandy is an active participant and supporter of various other charities in the community.
Halston The Dog Bio: A loveable companion who stays upstairs during events and is spotted looking out the window down at the guests, much to the delight of the animal lovers in the crowd; who invariably coax Sandy and Drew at the end of the evening to invite him down for short but fun introductions – and photos!
